What is a tagged list?

A tagged list is a list that you upload into a Pinpointe database that you tag with a specific name.

How do I create a tagged list?

Tagged lists make it easier to select contacts from within your database and send them a targeted campaign.


Why would you want to create a tagged list? Let's imagine your company just hosted a webinar. You want to follow up with both contacts who actually attended the webinar and contacts who registered but did not attend. You have already saved two separate CSVs based on this information. Adding tags to databases are simple! 


On Pinpointe's Home screen, click on the ‘Upload Contacts’ icon (Fig 1).

Select the database you want to add the contacts to and click the Next button (Fig 2).

Drag you CSV file into the box to the right of the Select Database; you can also add it by clicking on the icon to browse local files on your computer (Fig 3).

During the import process, you can tag the list to a default lis name or create a new list name when you import it. 


Another way you can tag a list is go to Contacts -> Search (Fig 4).

On the Search for Contacts screen, you can select the databases you want and click Add All to List (Fig 5). This is another way to tag a list.

If you have a few specific contacts you'd like to add or remove from lists, you can also search for them directly under Contacts -> Search.
