Before enabling 2FA, it's important to verify that your contact details (email address, mobile phone number) are correct!

If you have shared user/subuser logins, you'll need to set up separate subuser logins for each person that accesses Pinpointe. Please contact Pinpointe Support for assistance.

Pinpointe now supports two-factor authentication (2FA). After you register an authentication method, your account will require you to enter a 6-digit verification code after logging in to access Pinpointe.

After setting up Email 2FA, 2FA can also be set up via SMS text message and/or a Time-based One-time Password.

  • SMS Text Message: Receive a text message with the 6-digit code on your mobile phone
    • Mobile phone numbers must have their country prefix. We support:
      • US (ex. +1-555-555-5555)
      • Canada (ex. +1-555-555-5555)
      • Mexico (ex. +1-52-55-5555-5555)
  • Email: Receive an email sent to your account's email address with a 6-digit code
  • Time-based One-Time Password: Use an 2FA authentication app on your mobile phone  (Authy, Zoho OneAuth, Microsoft Authenticator, etc.) to provide you with a 6-digit code

If your haven't set up 2FA via Email the first time around, you'll be required to the next time you log in.

On the Verification Code, screen, type in the code you've received, and click on the "Verify" button (Fig 1).

If you want your browser to remember the verification code, then you won't have to enter a verification code after logging in for 30 calendar days.

It's important that when you receive your verification code to type it in as soon as you can; if you wait too long, the codes won't work.

If you get an error message regarding your code, you can click the "Back" button and request a code again.
